Easily one of the best books on rhetoric that I have ever read. It goes through how the choice of words can make such a big difference using the Republican Part Contract with America (largely engineered by the author). I found myself able to apply the concepts to all of my communications immediately.

Very much enjoyed reading this book. Especially the pointers on the new medium of email. Their recommendations are still very valid today, and should be reviewed often. I did catch the authors breaking their own rules and admonishments from time to time, but overall found the book to be well written, enjoyable, to the point, and still very useful.
