After walking away from Chasing Cross in the middle of their tour, he tries everything he can to settle the demons in his soul, but the all night parties, booze, women, and jam sessions cannot silence the voice deep within... Sarah is a small town veterinarian, not quite sure where her life is going. She walks her opinionated dog and lives her life in a simple routine. When a moving truck disrupts her quiet street, she must learn to accept her new neighbor's noisy habits and sexy stare. For the first time ever, booze can't mask his feelings. After over a decade of the rockstar life, Rick finally feels like he has a life off stage. Jamming in a garage with old friends and getting to know Sarah, and her loyal dog, Molly, is his definition of home. The rest of Chasing Cross continue the tour, with help from Fallen Tuesday’s lead singer, Luke, as their replacement drummer. He brings life back to the band, but even still, without Rick, the band feels incomplete. In the final book featuring Chasing Cross, choices will come to a head. Chasing Cross must decide whether to move on without Rick and Rick must settle his own battles, personally and professionally. Falling in love wasn’t part of the deal, but sometimes love happens when a person least expects it....

Enjoyed the story of rock and Sarah. Happy all the band members are settled on their relationships now. I wish there was a sixth book with some interaction between the bands partners too and maybe one more tour together with the girls on the bus too. Looking forward to Fallen Tuesday books.

Well well well! Rick certainly does something when he feels he has to! He takes himself off, locks himself away in a dive of an apartment and i didn't think we was going to do something like that! We knew he would most probably find himself a nice girl, and want to settle down but you certainly kept the attention at the forefront, wondering what was going to happen next! The other boys from the band, had to deal with the fallout of Rick leaving I always got the impression that Rick was the immature one, but you did him proud! We saw how vulnerable side, saw him at Rock bottom, just wanted to give him a hug.So Sarah, bright independent, sassy but with a calming aura about her, and with a cute dog can't go wrong with a dog! They are good judges of character with people. After Rich scaring himself to death, he realises that he needs to take control of his life, his position with the bak still hanging in a balance. Rick and Sarah get to know each other, slowly and although they both feel a connection with each other, I loved Susie, Sarah's friend she was such a giggle.I enjoyed the suspense in this book, the not knowing of what Rick is going to do next.He and Sarah had a great connection, both trying to stay independent but finally letting the inevitable happen. The decision is finally made about the band, with them all getting together, it would be great if there was a 'down the line' Novella with how each of the boys are getting on!

This final book is this series was wonderful. What a way to show that you can enjoy life and still do the thing you want. Rick decides to take a break from the band and ends up buying a house and jamming with some of his old friends. They play at a local bar and Rick loves it. He meets one of his neighbor and it immediately intrigued. Sarah is a vet and loves her job and her dog Molly. Molly is a very smart dog and must sense that these two need to be together. Rick ends up playing with the band again but each member knows that it's time to live life and stop being on the mainstream. Excellent storyline with characters that are so full of life. I didn't want this series to end but the Author made the transition beautifully.

So for the last book in this series I feel I was left hanging and maybe its because it was so good I had to keep reading it which meant finishing at 2:00 a.m.. I did not understand if Chasing Cross actually quit touring for good & did not plan on going back to record another album. Up until this point I really liked this book and would have given another 5 star rating for the books in this series.I have to admit I am going to really miss the guys of Chasing Cross and can only hope that the author can come up with another book about them. And yes, I do plan on reading the next books on Fallen Tuesday and can only hope they are as good as Chasing Cross.

I absolutely loved this series. This is book 5 in the series. I got this book from the author as a gift. In this book we learn more about the drummer Rick. Rick was some what of a loner, and had a major alcohol problem. He left Chasing Cross to go die somewhere he just couldn't handle the way his life was going. Along the way he meets Sarah. Sarah opens up to Rick about her parents being killed in a car accident because her father was drunk and refused to give up the keys. Can Sarah save Rick, or will he end up destroying himself. Must read to find out. I am now looking forward to reading Falling Tuesday.

Karolyn James did an excellent job ending one band & introducing the next. I just loved what Chasing Cross did at the end of the book, if you want know what I'm talking about get series & find out it brought tears to my eyes. Now on to the next band of the series Fallen Tuesday!!

RICK AND SARAHLast story about Chasing Cross series. RICK walks away not really knowing what was missing in his life but just lost. He forms a rag tag garage band when he pulls himself out of his solo partying Hell. RICK buys a house, for the garage, and Molly introduces him to Sarah. Rock's life turns around for best yet.

Arc review For honest review. Wow what a great series. Rick had to take a break with so much in his head he doesn't know if he wants to live but life has other plans for him. This band has been a family and like any family you all need to grow ,step back ,love , communicate , and trust. Rock on.

Finally finished this part of the series. Each had their own storey and this was Rick' s turn to take the spotlight...and he did just that in the end. It was a good storey but was missing something for me. Still a nice wrap up for Chasing Cross although their storey is far from over.

All I can say is wow!!!! I read all five books in one weekend. Karolyn has such an easy writing style that had me laughing and crying for the characters. It made me sad when their stories ended and made me wanting more. Thank you for Ms James for sharing your stories with us. :-)

Wow what a way to end the series but get a reader excited about the upcoming series of rockers. I miss Chasing Cross and hope Fallen Tuesday is just as good. Would love to see what happens to the guys now that they are taking it easy and have ladies in their lives.

The fifth in a series about the rock group Chasing Cross. It was a good ending of the series with a nice lead into another five books about a new band and its members. There were quite a few typing mistakes but they did not detract from the story. Looking forward to the next books in this series.

I was going for 3.5 but what the heck 4 it is. I just have to add, these guys hardly wear protection when having sex, good thing it is fiction. Or not?

Rick and Sarah's story. A little slow to start and dark, but bright and sunny in the end with a cliff hanger in the end centered around emerging rock star band Fallen Tuesday.

Great story. The editing has improved, but still needs work. Don't read this series if you're a stickler for proper word use, correct grammar and perfect editing.
