Another great volume. Even though I knew what was going to happen it was still really interesting to read. I do have to say that I wish the fighting scenes were drawn more clearly. Sometimes I didn't know what the heck was happening. But that couldn't possibly make me give this vol. less than 5 stars. Can't wait to read the next one.

I liked this one even more than the first two!We finally start to see how hard it is for Ken to live while fighting his ghoul's side, we see the thing he has to do to survive. It's interesting to see both sides and their POVs : human and ghoul's. For humans, ghouls are total monsters who kill them just for fun, but ghouls are like humans : some are good and try their best not to hurt innocent people, and some decide they prefer to kill people. In both sides, there are good and bad people.I'm honestly interest to read the next vol, I feel like Ken is finally start to discover his ghoul's side and I like it!

4.5 stars Just one word: unputdownable. This manga is exceeding my expectations, which were rather high to begin with. (I also lowkey want to cry because only the first 10 volumes have been translated so far, and... Well, I guess I just need to work on my Japanese.)

The thing is ... I don't really care for the human pro/an-tagonists. They seem much more quick to kill, and are more bloodthirsty. This volume felt short and not much really happened, except for one person dying - which I didn't think would happen for some time.Continuing on ...

Finally, we get to see some fighting action! This volume mainly focuses on the two main investigators, Amon & Mado, and their weapons and fighting techniques, against Touka, Kaneki and Hinami. It was really interesting seeinn the fights, and it seems like it'll only get worse for the ghouls from now on.

This was a solid volume if not a little predictable. So with the death of a ghoul, Touka decides to take matters into her own hands. She goes RIGHT after the doves themselves. Slaughtering each one who did Hinami wrong and killed her mother and who are still after her. After some sneaking around all the pieces are set and the doves come face to face with the Ghouls trying to decide who will face who and what their death will mean. Good: Loved some moments in here. My favorite with Touka going full badass and showing how strong she is. Also learning more about the Doves and seeing how they use their weapons and where they got them from. Hinami growing into her own too was nice. Bad: Kaneki is kind of annoying here. Trying to make a statement is fine but why do it so...uselessly? It felt kind of a anime cliche 101. I also thought the sneaking in to the base was dumb and that the characters were smarter than that. Overall the weakest volume so far but still very enjoyable. I've seen the anime so I know things are going to heart up soon but this one was kind of a lul in comparison to the first two exciting arcs.

KANEKI TELLING AMON TO RUN WAS THE BEST THING THAT HAPPENED IN THIS VOLUME- i really don't like Touka lol what's up with her and revenge also does she have a sister or a brother or sh????- Glad Mado is dead & I don't care if he had a wife and a family he was heartless and creepy asf - hinami is a sweet child I want to protect her and make her happy- starting to like this yomo guy- also I love amon. He's annoying bc he keeps doubting himself but I love him Overall good volume we get to see more of these investigators and how far their hate goes. Good character developments too. Can't wait for more

I particularly liked this volume because it shows both sides of the spectrum and both present valid arguments. You have the CCG members, Amon and Mado, and their argument is that ghouls are simply human eating monsters that cause nothing but sadness and death. To an extent that is true. There are binge eaters and such like Rize was and because of that humans die. And there are people who have their loved ones take away because they have died to the hunger of a ghoul. In Mado's eyes, ghouls are not human and it repulses him when they mimic human behavior. To him, they are all simply monsters and all deserve to die. And because of the death of his friend, Amon feels the same way. And because of that he wants to make the world right by killing every last ghoul. Then you have the ghouls. In this Touka states that ghouls need humans to survive since that is how they eat. Also we are reminded of Hinami's loss and it is asked if her loss is just as saddening or just as heartbreaking because she is a ghoul. Then we are also reminded that Hinami's mom and other ghouls like her try to live peaceful and do not go out of their way to kill humans. And because of that, they are not monsters. And then, of course, you have Kaneki. Kaneki (being a half ghoul and half human) tries to understand it from both sides. He wants everyone to understand that humans and ghouls can coexist. Hell, I think he even wants to make it possible. But after an argument with Amon as they fight, he starts to wonder if he is the only one open to the possibility because of the fact that he is a half ghoul. I really liked this volume because we are shown all sides of the argument and each one of them makes sense. Then the question becomes, who is right?I feel like I can't answer that for sure since I feel like both are right in a way. I'm still going to keep reading because I love the fact that this series is going all out and using all of the possibilities that are open. It's awesome.

"I think highly of your zeal... But if i may gave you one piece of advice. When faced with an enemy...Fight even if your arms and legs are torn off. That is what it means to be a professional, Amon."- Kureo MadoI really enjoyed the scenes that weren't in the Manga. Throughout the book, I really tend to enjoy Hiami's bravery and and how fragile she is. It was also very inspirational what Kaneki thought about ghouls and Humans alike.

Not much happened in this volume. Except, Kaneki's badass mode is on. Hehehe)I really liked Hinami's personality. Such a clever and sweet child! She didn't deserve all of these. So sad for her. And thank God! Mado is dead. I hate him so much.My favorite part: Touka and Kaneki covering themselves as students. With all shuffly hair of Kaneki's!

Výborný díl, ve kterém začíná přituhovat. :) A kde i Kaneki začíná procházet určitou vnitřní proměnou. :)

Even Ghouls.. Even I want to live like you guys !-Touka4 star! This volume is much better than the last one. I was all sad and weepy by the end of it. T_TNot cool, Ishida sensei.I am not going to go into the details of the plot (too many spoilers). Its mainly about the continued chase for the daughter (Hinami) by the Doves, Mado and Amon. As readers are we put through two POVs. A human's and a ghoul's.For a Ghoul, eating humans is the most natural state of being. Because that's how they are made. Its in their genes. And for a human, exterminating ghouls is the most obvious choice to protect the populace. For a ghoul, humans are either fodder or hypocrites. For a human, ghouls are nothing but soulless monsters. For most of them, its absurd to think of ghouls as "people" or beings with feelings. Even more absurd, is the idea that some ghouls can be categorized as "good" or "harmless". Mado, for example, thinks it is "disgusting" that a ghoul wants to be righteous and wants to "live" a "normal" and "peaceful" life. Trash. That's the adjective he uses for them. He killed Hinami's mother, who never hunted, who never hurt a living human. And Touka believes all the Doves should die. She even killed an officer, not for food, but for revenge. And he was not even directly involved in the death of Hinami's mother. The only person who can understand the feelings and thinking of both, is Kaneki. Born a human, and turned into a ghoul, now.The dialogue has improved in this volume. Although it's still a little...cheesy :P And Kaneki's mask is freaky!! The best mask in the series, hands down. Although I have some technical queries which are unresolved in the manga. Why cover one of the eyes? Doesn't that restrict fighting? You can't judge distance with just one eye! Also Touka's mask in the worst. :P Does that nose look like a pair of balls or is my mind really that dirty?I really like the character of Hinami. There are two fight scenes. Mado vs Touka/Hinami and Amon vs Kaneki. And both were amazing! And this volume had a couple of moments with feels, even though I am not reading it for the first time. These japanese authors know how to do their feels well. The reason I am actually re-reading this series is because I have lost the whole feel of the story and I want to start reading "Tokyo Ghoul: re". And its commendable that even a second read has not bored me one bit. Proof of how very well written this is.

please dont make me kill a person...:'(و آخرش...

si comincia ad approfondire la tematica “etica”. È giusto uccidere i ghouls?Kaneki lo amo sempre di piú, non vedo l'ora di vedere come svilupperà comletamente le sue potenzialità da ghoul.

I read this in one sitting as soon as I woke up, that’s how badly I wanted to continue with the series. This volume had such emotional turmoil ugh!! I like the questions of morality regarding elimination of ghouls. The action this time around was thrilling. I’m really enjoying the character progression of Kaneki through the books!

A OMG! UŽ TAM ZMIŇUJOU MÝHO MANŽELA TSUKIYAMU!!!! A JUUUZA! Tenhle díl byl fakt napínavý a pokud jste ještě s mangou nezačali, dejte jí určitě šanci! Je to masakr.4/5*

I wasn't expecting to cry because I already knew what was going to happen ... but I did. I cried. Not cool, Ishida. Not. Cool. I mean, I really enjoyed watching Tokyo Ghoul, but never as much as everyone else did, but I find that the manga is (despite being the same thus far) quicker to get through. It's almost more exciting reading it than watching it, haha.

It's been a while since I've read any books. I guess I'm finally over my reading slump. *thumbs up*This volume was a lot better than the last one. It was very emotional. And Ayato was mentioned in this volume! I have already noticed some differences between the anime and manga, which I guess is a good thing. I'm still waiting for Tsukiyama to make an appearance, where the hell is he? Overall, this was a great volume. I look forward to reading the next one. Kaneki is a cinnamon roll that doesn't deserve this.
