It didn't matter how much I protested, she had a vision and I was going to achieve her vision - or else. It's a battle of wills that I might just lose - I know the world needs one more opportunity to see cute kittens dangling from Christmas trees, but L-MIP insists I should be baring my soul, pouring out my heart - and giving away my innermost secrets. start a blog Reviews
This is another short installment of Samantha's exploits as she attempts to grow beyond the labels that are placed on her by society. This book is where she starts to move beyond her crush on her best friend Max, and begins to question where she belongs in general, all as she's trying to start a blog. I liked the sense of empowerment that she's starting to get, but the shortness of the stories gets very irritating after a while.
Meh with hints of like.
The second instalment was just as quirky as the first one. Obviously there is an underlying romance which will probably take to the last instalment to come out. I think a lot of people can relate to Sam and her quests to better herself. Also, I can understand how hard it is to write something when the inspiration does not find you, but the truth that she shares with the world on her first blog post, is comforting and reassuring that Sam is not alone.Another great read and I could not put it down until I had read it all (even if that meant missing my train stop).
'Start a Blog' is the second book in a good series. I just wished it was longer. Sam seems to be getting stronger as she finds who she wants to be. I'm enjoying her trip through her Bucket List. And Max's friendship with Sam is becoming interesting. I look forward to reading more.
Cute book with a original premise. Very short. Pretty predictable, but then it's a romance so would you really expect more?
