Amy, who has spent most of her life secluded in the woods with her parents, is finally out and living in a house among her friends. Parker is the guy who just won't leave her alone and wants her for himself. Throw in some crazy characters, dirty role playing (Luke and Ali) and some suspense and you've got the makings of a pretty good and crazy ride.I have to say, I didn't like this one as much as the first. I don't know exactly what was missing for me this time that the first book had...it was just "something". I can't quite put my finger on it. I liked Amy. I was glad to see her come out of her shell and become the woman she was meant to be had she lived a more normal life. I LOVED Parker and how he didn't give up on Amy. She was his end of discussion.I think too, there were some inconsistencies in things. For instance, initially, I got the impression that Amy's parents were religious fanatics or just plain crazy. Her mom talks about not showing skin and sin etc. But then later, she remembers them fondly and how much they loved her and took care of her etc. So it was just a little conflicting in how I thought of them at first. But overall, it didn't affect my enjoyment of the book. There's a little bit of Shamus and Savannah thrown in there too so it'll be interesting to see how she spins that because as one who doesn't do dead exes, I'm a bit nervous but curious.

Oh Ashley Lyn, you funny funny author, you are quickly becoming a serious favorite of mine! I will do my very best to make sure everyone reads your original, and hilarious stories of Spartan! Amy has lived in the woods with her parents her entire childhood, so when they die, she finally comes into town. Parker has been trying to find Amy in the woods for days, but never thought she would be found in town. Now the games begin, as Parker decides he wants to make her his, and she wants to dodge him until she gets her life in order. I'm sure I'm going to say over and over again, how funny this story is, because frankly, I haven't read any book close to this funny, and I've read several. Ashley Lyn is a newer author, but her brilliant writing style shines through with the folks of Spartan. They are quirky, original, and a damn good time. (NEVER drink any beverage while reading)! Parker and Amy were hysterically funny together, not to mention Alice making great cameos (think Santa costumes), once again. There was a dash of steamy sexiness, with a shake of suspense, some highly entertaining sword fighting, and the most colorful cast of secondaries known to man. I CANNOT WAIT for the next book in this EPICALLY HILARIOUS series, and I want to shout from the rooftops that everyone far and wide should read this most entertaining story! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

A very interesting read. Amy and Parker are perfect for each other and that is hard to miss. I loved their back story and how they wanted to move ahead with each other. Amy has been living in seclusion until her parents dies and now she's come to find herself and her independence. The small town is filled with amazing characters who make her their own. Parker is the town sheriff and wants Amy to be his. He puts it all out there from the beginning of the book and he was Ahmazing!!I fell a little disoriented in the beginning of the book since the story started a little forward and I felt I had missed some pages. Overall a sweet and sexy read. *~*~*ARC generously provided by the author in exchange of an honest review *~*~*

Accidental Heiress is a mostly fun loving, sweet romance, of Amy and Parker. It's told from a dual POV, and has it all, love, laughs, mystery and angst. Amy is a shy girl, she's just come from living off the grid her entire life. Her parents have passed on, and she tried to make it work, but was finally convinced to move to town by friends she had made as a teenager. She's a resilient woman, and a bit confused about this new life. Parker is the sexy sheriff in town. One of the first calls he was on involved Amy, and she hasn't been far from his mind since. Accidental Heiress is an engrossing story. It's interesting and different. I was dying to know more about Amy and her former way of life as the pages flipped. However, I was a bit confused by POV changes. The book is mostly in Parker and Amy's POV, but there are a few others thrown in occasionally. While I enjoyed the book very much, I was also left feeling like I read a book and a half of another one with the set up for the next book. Overall, I would recommend this to the reader looking for a fast and different read. *Review Copy requested and reviewed on behalf of OMGReads*

4.5 starI was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, pain, suspense, secrets, and heartbreak. If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) firstLove CrazyThis is Amy and Parker’s story. Amy grew up and rarely went into town but since losing her parents she decided she would have to move to town. Parker the local sheriff has wanted Amy for a long time but has never went after her. Now that he knows she is moving to town he knows he must make his move. But will the way she grew up keep them apart? Or will she need him to get her through the move and the secrets that are uncovered? Can Parker get her to fall for him before she gets sucked into all the different choices in the small town?I loved these characters and the side characters. I felt I could connect with the characters and the story was a great read. I highly recommend this book.

This is so ridiculously funny. I laughed so much while reading this book. I so enjoy this series. If you're looking for a fun, light fast read I highly recommend this book. All the characters a so delightfully quirky. I fell in love with this small town all over again. I love how Parker is with Amy. Amy is starting a new life path and carving her own way. Parker wants to be right by her side along the way. It's going to call little work on his part to convince Amy to gibe him a chance. Things get quite steamy between the two. Amy gets a shock of her life when she finds out about her parents.

Quirky times twoIt's not enough often a book has me laughing out loud. Loved this book as much as the first. Amy and Parker's story is a little more intense than Ali and Luke's.

3 starsLike the first one of the series it was funny and had a little bit drama to keep it interesting. What made it only three stars to me was the fact that this 20- something girl that was raised in the woods and rarely EVER left the woods is so knowledgeable about the outside modern world. Other than sex - which there actually was none of in this story, just very very little play - she had no problem whatsoever fitting right into life including getting a drivers license and a job just days after walking out of the woods. Also, the emergence into society was supposed to coincide with the previous couple having been in a major car accident requiring casts and broken ribs but they were hale and hearty in this book.

This is the Second book in the Welcome to Spartan Series. You could read as a stand alone, but both Amy and Parker are in the first book as well. Plus, if you don’t read both, you will be missing out on some great laughs.Amy has lived out in the woods, and off grid, with her parents since she was born. Yes, she did go into town sometimes and has made some friends. Now that her parents are gone, she’s living in town for the first time in her life.Parker is the Sheriff in town. He loves Amy and will marry her. He knows it. Now to get her on board with his plans.Parker also helps Amy learn about her mom. The truth about her. This town, and the people, are so totally nucking futs. I want to live there so bad. They are my kind of people. There were quite a few scenes that had me busting a gut. Elephant bikini briefs, slap boxing, nipple piercings, waxing, nurse’s outfit, whip cream…So many laughts! If you want a great laugh out loud read, Get This! Go Now! One-Click away! You won’t be disappointed! I promise.I just have a few words for Ashley Lyn… GIVE ME SHAMUS NOW!!!!!

Amy is a shy loner, and when she moves in town after being persuaded by her friends, she runs into Parker the very sexy sheriff. This story is filled with humour, mystery, and angst. This is a fun and sweet story. The only downside of this novel, in my opinion anyway, was that I found this a tad confusing with the multiple POV’s.I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book!
