More Helvetica, and some really neat textured illustrations, "black-and-white photographs reproduced from line conversions screened with a 'Lasergrain' pattern. Color was added by hand with film overlays." What's Lasergrain, I wonder? Also, the little boy at the end of this book looks just like a storytime regular, and he beamed at the last page! There should be more picture books featuring African-American children.

I loved the theme of growing and changing. This book could potentially influence a child into collecting things and turn that into a hobby.
