    Very practical and very helpful. Early in the book the author says that one of his patients told him the big picture stuff was fine but she needed to know how to handle the situation THAT day when her teen got home. He formatted and organized the book in such a way that it can be used for those "I need to know what to do right now" situations.

    Read this when my oldest turned 13 now the twins are 13 thought i would re-read it has good sound advice. A realistic book doesn't paint it all rosey tells it like it is.
